Story ( Spoiler Free):-

This film revolves around the character of Geetha ( Hebba Patel ) who became orphan by loosing her family at childhood itself. She is Dumb, can't talk. Her aim is to feed the orphan kids who are helpless in the society. She tried and requested a lot of people to adopt orphaned childrens but to her bad luck none of them accepts. This is the time where political leader Sai Kiran enters the scenario and his gang kidnaps childrens. Besides all these orphanage childrens are loosing their lives due to medical mafia's involved.

What is the role of Sai Kiran ? Why children's are being trapped and what is going on over there ? In between all these what is the role of Sunil and Sapthagiri ? How did Sunil and Hebba Patel solved this case? Did Hebba Patel achieved her goal forms the crux of story.

Positives 👍:-

• Hebba Patel career best performance till date. Sai Kiran, Sunil and Sapthagiri did their level in engaging the scenes.
• Story and screenplay.
• Director Vishwa made a different flick which is at it’s best.
• Cinematography Visuals are great and Production Values too.
• Background Score

Negatives 👎:-

• Slow narration.
• A little bit of drag in both halves.

The efforts made by Vishwa in the name of Geetha will engage all sections of the audience. The message for sure will be appealing to everyone.

Hebba Patel exceed in her role and did a terrific job that sticks over the audience. Sunil, Sapthagiri and Sai Kiran too did their best.

Production Values are top-notch and the Cinematography visuals are great. One can manage its slow narration due to the strong content.

A must-watch film.

Hebah Patel, Sunil’s thriller Geetha set for release; VV Vinayak conveys his wishes to the team

The film is written and directed by Viswa and also stars Sai Kiran, Saptagiri, Rajeev Kanakala among others

Popular director VV Vinayak’s former associate Viswa is turning a director with a crime thriller titled Geetha. Hebah Patel and Sunil play the lead roles in the film produced by R Rachaiah under Grand Movies. Geetha is among the many small films that are testing their fortunes at the box office this weekend on October 14. Ahead of its release, VV Vinayak had a special message for team Geetha.

“I really hope my associate Viswa gains name and fame with Geetha and help his producer friend Rachaiah make a lot of money out of it. I wish the very best for the entire team and hope audiences like it,” he said recently. The makers of Geetha were naturally thrilled with the message and appreciated his gesture. Nuvve Kavali, Premichu fame Sai Kiran is the antagonist in the film.

Ram Karthik, Saptagiri, Rajeev Kanakala, Prudhviraj, Tanikella Bharani, Sandhya Janak, Surya, Lalitha, Priya, Meena Kumari, Jabardasth Apparao and others too play supporting roles. Subhash Anand has composed the songs in the film while S Chinna has come up with the background score. K Kranthi Kumar has cranked the camera and Upendra is the editor of the same.

VV Ramana is the co-director and JK Murthy is the art director respectively. Sagar has penned the songs while Aneesh is the choreographer. Earlier this year, another protege of VV Vinayak, Vassishta, debuted with the fantasy drama Bimbisara starring Kalyan Ram, Catherine Tresa and Samyuktha Menon in lead roles. The film emerged a blockbuster at the box office.

Meanwhile, VV Vinayak is gearing up for his Hindi cinema debut with the remake of Prabhas, Shriya Saran starrer Chatrapathi, originally helmed by SS Rajamouli. The latter’s father Vijayendra Prasad has reworked the story for the Hindi version. Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Nushrat Barucha are the leads in the untitled film that’s expected to hit screens later this year or early 2023.

• 'Geetha' will be remembered for long: Sunil @ audio release event

'Geetha' is an upcoming movie that is slated to hit the cinemas on Sept 9. Its audio was released today. Starring Hebah Patel of 'Kumari 21F' fame and Sunil in key roles, 'Geetha' also features Ram Karthik, Saptagiri, Rajeev Kanakala, Prudhviraj, Tanikella Bharani, Sandhya Janak, Surya, Lalitha, Priya, Meena Kumar and others. Directed by Viswa (who is VV Vinayak's protege), the film has music by Subhash Anand.

Speaking on the occasion, Hebah Patel said, "I have played a mute woman in the film. My friends and family advised me to do the role only if I can do justice to it. I took it up as a challenge. I thank the trainers who taught me sign language. It was not easy at all. I had to learn the dialogues and then emote them in sign language. So, it was double the work."

Sunil , who was recently seen in 'Darja' and 'Tees Maar Khan', said, "This is a content-driven movie. The audience always ask for such films always. Their wish has been answered. The main plot as well as the subplots are exciting in the film. I congratulate director Viswa. He is going to become a successful filmmaker as well as a director who is known for sensible movies. I am sure that 'Geetha' will be talked about even after five years, for it deals with a burning problem."

Geetha Movie Review: A perfect amalgam of two beautiful love stories

With Geetha , debutant director Vijay Naagendra delivers a film that strikes the perfect balance between the heart and mind. He takes up a mature subject and deals with it beautifully, connecting all the ends in this love story that spans two generations. In addition to this,  Geetha   also talks about patriotism, friendship, love and family. 

Akash (Ganesh) and Geetha  (Prayaga Martin) are the principal characters of the story. The former is a software engineer, while the latter is a strong and opinionated NGO worker. Whenever they bump into each other their conversations turn into arguments. Akash happens to attend Geetha’s engagement with Prem (Vishal Hegde) where he meets Priya (Shanvi Srivastav), who ends up working with him in the same office.

It is revealed that Akash’s parents, Shankar (Devaraj) and Aarti (Swathi), are separated and it has left him with an unhealed scar. Priya, who befriends Akash, tries to reunite his parents, but all her efforts are in vain. Shankar then decides to reveal the actual reason behind their separation to Akash.

In the flashback sequence, Shankar (played now by Ganesh) is a college student and activist from Mysore, fighting for the revival of Kannada and taking part in the Gokak agitation along with writers, freedom fighters, and actors like Dr Rajkumar, Vishnuvardhan, Ambareesh, and Shankar Nag. Shankar is in love with Geethanjali (Parvathy Arun), and he also has a friend, Aarti (Shanvi Srivastava). In the aftermath of the agitation, the situation gets all topsy-turvy and circumstances force Shankar to leave Geethanjali and marry Aarti. 

After hearing the story, Akash takes up a new job in Kolkata and meets his father’s former love interest, Geethanjali (Sudharani). But, at this point, Akash is himself in a situation where he has to choose between his good friend Priya and Geetha. Who does he choose as his life partner? The answer to this and what happens to the lead trio after, forms the rest of the film. The relationships in the film culminate with the evergreen song — Geetha Sangeetha — from the classic Shankar Nag film of the same name, thus sending everyone back on memory lane.

Despite sounding complicated on paper, Naagendra, who has also written Geetha , has handled the story and screenplay really well. Setting the love story in the backdrop of a sensitive issue like Gokak agitation is a clever idea, and it has been executed well too. The episode beautifully evokes a sense of patriotism and love for the languge among the audience. Dialogue writers Nagendra and Santhosh Ananddram deserve special mention, especially for the lines written for Gokak Chaluvali .   The director should also be applauded for selecting the right cast, and setting the story in the 1980s. His treatment of the various relationships — friendship, love, marriage, family — in the 1980s and the present age match perfectly the times they are set in.

Ganesh is flawless in his dual role. He exceeds expectations with his appearance and acting both. Romance is cakewalk for the actor by now, and so it's his mature handling of the Gokak episode that particularly impresses. Prayaga Martin, who plays an independent woman, beautifully portrays a character who believes in standing by her decisions. Parvathy Arun, as the shy non-Kannadiga girl, who speaks more through her expressions, has delivered a good performance as well.

Just like Ganesh, Shanvi too has a dual role and she does justice to both. Devaraj and Swathi also play an integral role in the film. Music composer Anup Rubens excels with his background score and the patriotic track Kanadave Sathya Kannada Nitya deserves a special mention. The picturesque cinematography of Shreesha Kuduvalli elevates the mood of the film. 

Overall, Geetha is a perfect amalgam of two beautiful love stories told almost flawlessly.

After a decade-long anticipation, the sequel to Geethanjali, titled Geethanjali Malli Vachindi, has finally graced the screens today. Adding to the excitement, this release also commemorates actress Anjali’s 50th film. Explore the review to unveil the verdict on this highly anticipated sequel.

Ayaan (Satya) and his friend Seenu (Srinivasa Reddy), a struggling director, decide to make a movie but face numerous obstacles. When they’re on the verge of quitting, Seenu receives a call from Ooty-based businessman Vishnu (Rahul Madhav), who wants to produce a film. Vishnu owns a haunted palace called Sangeeth Mahal and insists on shooting there. Anjali (Anjali), a coffee shop owner, is chosen as the heroine. As the filming progresses, they encounter eerie moments. What secrets lie within the palace? Who is Vishnu? Why did he choose a struggling director? How is Geethanjali related to the story? Plus Points:

Comedian Satya once again captivates the audience with his impeccable comedic timing, eliciting laughter with his innocent performance and expressive reactions.

Sunil, though given minimal screen time, delivers a commendable performance in the latter half, adding to the enjoyment with his antics.

Anjali performs adequately in her role, supported by a strong ensemble, including Srinivasa Reddy, Satyam Rajesh, and Shakalaka Shankar. Ravi Shankar and Priya also shine as ghosts, contributing to the entertainment.

The comedy scenes set in the ghost palace are particularly effective, providing laughs aplenty, especially in the latter part of the film.

Minus Points:

The film’s plot is its Achilles’ heel, as its predictability and lack of originality make the proceedings too routine. A more innovative script could have injected much-needed excitement into this horror comedy.

While the comedy scenes are thriving, the character arc of the villain, portrayed by Rahul Madhav, is underdeveloped, leaving potential untapped.

Supporting actors like Ali and Srikanth Iyengar are underutilized, with their roles lacking depth. Additionally, Anjali’s character suffers from a lack of decent screen time, a surprising misstep.

The storyline involving the ghosts could have been concluded more effectively, with the climax appearing forced and lacking conviction. Despite providing entertainment, many scenes feel overly familiar and fail to leave a lasting impact.

Technical Aspects:

Director Shiva Turlapati’s efforts are commendable, but senior writer Kona Venkat’s neglect of the story and screenplay detracts from the overall impact. A greater focus on these aspects could have elevated the film’s quality.

Pravin Lakkaraju’s music adds thrills here and there, while Sujatha Siddhartha’s cinematography could have been more engaging to captivate the audience. Chota K Prasad’s editing is satisfactory, and the production values meet expectations.

On the whole, Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi offers laughs but falls short in delivering scares. Satya’s comedic prowess shines, supported by Sunil’s notable performance. While Anjali holds her own, the film’s routine plot, underdeveloped characters, and lackluster climax are its weaknesses. It’s advisable to explore alternative entertainment options.

హెబ్బా పటేల్, సునీల్‌ ప్రధాన పాత్రల్లో నటిస్తున్న తాజా చిత్రం ‘గీత’. ‘మ్యూట్ విట్నెస్’ అన్నది ఉప శీర్షిక.  ‘గ్రాండ్ మూవీస్‌’పతాకంపై ఆర్.రాచయ్య నిర్మిస్తున్న ఈ చిత్రానికి వి.వి వినాయక్‌ శిష్యుడు విశ్వా.ఆర్.రావు దర్శకత్వం వహిస్తున్నాడు. ‘నువ్వే కావాలి’, ‘ప్రేమించు’చిత్రాల ఫేమ్ సాయి కిరణ్ ప్రతి నాయకుడిగా పరిచయమవుతున్నారు. అన్ని కార్యక్రమాలు పూర్తి చేసుకున్న ఈ చిత్రం ఆగస్ట్‌ 26న విడుదల కానుంది.

ఈ సందర్భంగా దర్శకుడు విశ్వ మాట్లాడుతూ.. ‘ఈ సినిమా అవకాశం నా గురువు, దైవం అయిన వినాయక్ గారే ఇప్పించారు. నిర్మాత రాచయ్యగారికి నేను ఎప్పటికీ రుణపడి ఉంటాను" అన్నారు. నిర్మాత ఆర్.రాచయ్య మాట్లాడుతూ... "గురువుకు తగ్గ శిష్యుడు అనిపించుకునేలా మా డైరెక్టర్ విశ్వ... ‘గీత’చిత్రాన్ని చాలా అద్భుతంగా తెరకెక్కించాడు. ఈనెల 26న ఈ చిత్రాన్ని ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు తీసుకురానున్నాం’ అన్నారు.

రామ్ కార్తిక్, సప్తగిరి, రాజీవ్ కనకాల, పృథ్వి , తనికెళ్ళ భరణి, సంధ్యా జనక్ ఇతర ముఖ్యపాత్రలు పోషిస్తున్న ఈ చిత్రంలో సూపర్ గ్లామర్ హీరోయిన్ హెబ్బా పటేల్ అనాథల కోసం పోరాడే మూగ యువతిగా... ఓ చాలెంజింగ్ రోల్ చేస్తుండడం విశేషం.  సూర్య, లలిత, ప్రియ, మీనాకుమారి, జబర్దస్త్ అప్పారావు, జబర్దస్త్ దుర్గారావు తదితరులు ఇతర పాత్రలు ప్లే చేస్తున్న ఈ చిత్రానికి సుభాష్ ఆనంద్ సంగీతం అందిస్తున్నాడు.
