Mangalore University B.P.Ed. Admission 2024

Mangalore University offers B.P.Ed. with the intake of 50 students (20- General Category and 30-Payment Category). Candidates who have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with at least 45% marks are eligible to apply. Admission to B.P.Ed is given on the basis of the performance in the entrance test, marks obtained in the qualifying examination, and sports representation.

Mangalore University M.Sc & MA Admission 2024

Mangalore University offers M.Sc in 18 specializations and MA in 7 specializations at the PG level. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree with 45% marks in the relevant discipline to apply.

Admission to MA and M.Sc is given on the basis of merit obtained in the entrance test and qualifying examination.

Mangalore University MBA & MCA Admission 2024

The minimum eligibility requirement for the MBA and MCA program is graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Admissions are made on the basis of marks obtained by the student in the Karnataka PGCET exam.

Mangalore University PG Admission 2024: M.Sc, M.Lib.Sc, M.Com, MA, MSW, M.Ed. & M.PEd.

At the PG level, Mangalore University offers MCA, M.Lib.Sc, M.Com, MSW, M.Ed. and M.P.Ed. courses.

M.Com applicants must have a B.Com, BBA, BBM degree with at least 45% marks. Candidates who hold BCA, B.Sc in CS, Mathematics, Business Statistics, Business Mathematics with minimum 50% marks are eligible to join MCA. Students who have completed B.Lib.Sc. or B.Sc in relevant discipline with not less than 45% marks are eligible to join M.Lib.Sc.

Applicants who hold B.P.Ed. Degree with at least 50% marks (45% for the reserved category candidates) is eligible to join M.P.Ed. For MSW, candidates must have completed graduation in any relevant discipline with at least 45% marks. The university grants admission to M.Com, MSW, M.PEd. Programs on the basis of merit in the entrance test and marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Key Points :

• Not more than 2 seats are reserved in each program for the students of any other university.
• A maximum of 5 seats in each program is reserved for overseas students.
• 1 seat in each program is reserved for the ward of defense personnel, one for physically handicapped, one for NSS, NCC, and Sportsperson, one seat for the children of Kashmiri Migrants.
• As per the instructions of the Government of Karnataka and UGC, 3% seats are reserved for Physically Handicapped candidates, 8% for the students of Hyderabad Karnataka region, and 1% seat for the third gender, and 15% seat for the students of other universities.

Mangalore University PG Diploma Admission 2024

Mangalore University offers a PG Diploma course of 1-year duration with 4 specializations. Applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s degree with at least 45% marks to be eligible for admission.

Admission to PG Diploma courses is given on the basis of the applicant’s merit in the qualifying examination and marks obtained in the entrance test.

Mangalore University Ph.D. & M.Phil Admission 2024

Mangalore University runs a Ph.D. program of minimum 3-year duration with 21 specializations and intake of 22 students in Statistics discipline and 8 seats in each specialization and M.Phil. the course of 1-year duration with 3 specializations and intake of 1 in each.

Candidates who have completed a Master’s Degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks are considered eligible to get admission to Ph.D. and M.Phil. program.

Admission to the course is given on the basis of the applicant’s merit in the entrance test and interview round conducted by the university.

• The entrance test is of 120 minutes and for 100 marks, while the interview holds 25 marks.
• Candidates who have qualified UGC/ CSIR JRF, NET, SLET, GATE , and foreign candidates are exempted from the written entrance test. However, they have to appear in the interview round to get admission.
• Senior Scientists are exempted from both the entrance test and interview round.
• The result of the entrance test is valid for a minimum 2-year duration.
• 3% seats are reserved for Differently Abled candidates

I always wanted to do engineering but because of financial issues, I chose BCA to build my career. I chose this college because it is the only college in our city that has good teaching skills, especially for BCA. And also because it is the number one college in our city. I won't regret choosing this college. In our college, they'll only place 250 students in BCA as they believe in quality. There will be a cutoff of 80 % after the 100 admissions.

Pros and cons of shree devi college Mangalore

• I like the way teachers and principal are very friendly
• Teachers will help you with any problem or any situation no need to hesitate
• There's no proper huge campus the college is located in the middle of the city
• The hostel facility is not that good for the price

A student should have passed their 12th with a good percentage. The application should be collected from the college office the application fee might be somewhere between 200 to 500 I think. I don't know about the reservation. The frequency of the exam is once a month internal assessment and once in 4 months a sem exam.

When I went to college that time there will be COVID 19 so I was applied though online now there will be an offline addmission students have to go to college and one faculty member will take small face-to-face interview

• They just focus on the studies not in sports

At first you have to choose course that you like and after you will given to fill the admissions form and you will be asked to pay the half of the fees at first and remaining in the next days or semesters and then u have to pay 5000 for the uniforms which u are gonna wear for all 6 semesters

• The quality of the teaching is very good and teacher will help us and clear our all doubt regarding student
• The teacher of degree department are very friendly, helpful and highly qualified experience and good teachera
• There is nothing that i don't like, this college

Application fees was around 200rs there are 2 internal and one final sem exam are conducted for each semester areas to improve include, It should gave option of online application and online fee payment instead of offline.

• Faculty, teaching facilities(labs), help by lecturers
• Library equipped with latest technologies
• Canteen food taste is below average and not good
• Some parts of the college building has become old

The students need to have good marks in 12th to join the college. Application is given in the college office for which they charge 100 rupees. After a few days, they will call you for the admission. Internal exam are held twice in a semester which are not so easy but not also difficult. Admission process is good and doesn't need any improvement

• I like the infrastructure that our college have. And tge facilities that they provide for us.
• The space we get. The park that our college have. The lecturers are soo good.
• There is nothing I don't like but yeah the weather which i don't like.
• The fines for some reason are too expensive that's it

The admission process is soo simple. That they ask simple general questions that every students can answer. And they give opportunities to every student who is poor in studies who is good in studies. The application can be applied on online. There is no difficulty in the entrance exam they select every good students. The admission process is perfect.

Eligibility is you must have to completed your puc with 50% aggregate. Application form is provided by the college faculty members there is no reservation seats given to the students. Exams we had the internals it was not that difficult and final exams obviously the college is not preparing the question paper , university is preparing so it was quite ok

The college not only contains nursing there are so many other courses they are bcom,bba bca Paramedical, bsc nursing, MSC nursing etc. When a student comes in college they will definitely get inspired to the college
