Q. 1. Assertion (A): The rationalising factor of $8-\sqrt{7}$ is $8+\sqrt{7}$. Reason (R): If the product of two irrational numbers is rational, then each one is said to be the rationalising factor of the other.

1. (a) Assertion (A): It is true that the rationalising factor of $8-\sqrt{7}$ is $8+\sqrt{7}$. Reason (R): It is true to say that each one is rationalising factor in the product of two irrational numbers. Hence, both Assertion (A) and Reason (R) are true and Reason $(R)$ is the correct explanation of Assertion (A).

2. (c) Assertion (A): Here, $3-\sqrt{5}+5+\sqrt{5}=8$, which is a rational number. So, Assertion (A) is true. Reason (R): It is not always true to say that sum of two irrational number is always an irrational number. Hence, Assertion (A) is true but Reason (R) is false.

The last exercise is the one-sixth turn, in this exercise, there are 3 questions. practice properly and solve additional examples and questions from the NCERT solutions for Class 5. 

Chapter 6– Be My Multiple, I’ll be Your Factor : Learn and prepare this chapter properly. This chapter is important for higher classes, and for making your maths base stronger. Practice as many times as possible and learn using the solutions. This chapter is fun to study, thus, you can focus better. “The mouse and the cat” is the first exercise and there are 5 questions. Practice the examples and solve the exercise questions. “Meow games” is the second exercise in this chapter. There are 3 questions. Next, you will know about multiples, their definition, and properties, also practice examples. Study about common multiples, practice the given list, and questions. The last exercise is the factor tree, practice how to make them and solve examples for proper understanding. The chapter is well explained in the solutions, use it to prepare all the exercise questions.

Chapter 7– Can You See the Pattern? : In this chapter, you will get to know about shapes and patterns. You will learn about different shapes and patterns and study their basic properties. Solve all the examples and exercise questions. Some of the important exercises are as follows, numbers and numbers, in this exercise there are 3 questions.
