Eeshwarudu OTT release date: When and where to watch Silambarasan, Nidhhi Agerwal’s film

Eeswaran was one of the first major Tamil films to have commenced shoot after the lockdown induced by the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. The team shot the film amidst several restrictions in record time and managed to release it for Pongal 2021. Suseenthiran directed the film that starred Silambarasan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nandita Swetha, Bharathiraaja in pivotal roles.

The rural entertainer met with a modest response on the ticket window and didn’t help itself owing to the clash with Vijay’s Master. The film was criticised for its dated plot and stereotypical execution. Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, Kali Venkat, Manoj Harish Uthaman, Stunt Siva formed the supporting cast of the film bankrolled by Balaji Kapa under D Company Production, Madhav Media.

Due to the several constraints amidst which the film released, the makers couldn’t ensure a theatrical release simultaneously in Telugu. Now, the Telugu version titled Eeshwarudu has begun streaming on Amazon Prime Video earlier this month. The OTT giant has categorised the film under the pay-per-view model and is available for viewers to watch it at Rs 79.

The sons of a village patriarch Periyasamy plan to visit him along with their families. While the protagonist, who is his caretaker, takes care of the preparations for their arrival, he stands up for the family in the hour of need. S Thaman has scored the music for the film and Tirru is the cinematographer for the same. Anthony is editor of the 123-minute long film.

The Tamil version, Eeswaran, had begun streaming on Disney+ Hotstar right in mid 2021. Silambarasan a.k.a Simbu was last seen in Pathu Thala, the Tamil remake of the 2017 Kannada hit Mufti, directed by Obeli N Krishna. The Telugu version of the film is currently available to watch on Amazon Prime Video too. His film with Gautham Menon, Vendhu Thanindadhu Kaadu, was dubbed into Telugu as Life of Muthu.

Eshwarudu OTT Release Date: Eeswaran became one of the first Tamil films to begin shooting after the Covid-induced lockdown. Despite facing numerous restrictions, the team efficiently completed the film and successfully released it during the Pongal festival in 2021. Directed by Suseenthiran, the movie featured Silambarasan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nandita Swetha, and Bharathiraaja in significant roles.

The rural-themed film received a lukewarm response at the box office, partly due to the competition from Vijay's Master . It faced criticism for its outdated storyline and predictable execution. Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, Kali Venkat, Manoj Harish Uthaman, and Stunt Siva were among the supporting cast members in the movie, which was produced by Balaji Kapa under D Company Production and Madhav Media.

As a result of various challenges faced during its release, the makers were unable to arrange a simultaneous theatrical release for the Telugu version of the film. However, the Telugu version titled Eshwarudu has now started streaming on Amazon Prime Video since the beginning of this month. The film is classified under the pay-per-view model on the OTT platform, allowing viewers to watch it for Rs 79.

About the film:

The descendants of a respected village leader, Periyasamy, make arrangements to visit him along with their families. Meanwhile, the film's protagonist, who serves as Periyasamy's caretaker, takes charge of the preparations for their arrival. As the story unfolds, he emerges as a pillar of support for the family during a challenging time. Notably, the film features a captivating musical score by S Thaman, with Tirru serving as the cinematographer. The editing of this 123-minute-long film has been expertly handled by Anthony.

The Tamil version of the film, Eeswaran , started streaming on Disney+ Hotstar in the middle of 2021. బాలల చిత్రాల సంఖ్య ఒకప్పటితో పోలిస్తే ఇప్పుడు ఇంకా తగ్గింది. చిన్నారులే ప్రధానంగా తెరక్కిన సినిమాలను వేళ్లపై లెక్కపెట్టొచ్చు. ఆ లోటును కాస్త తీర్చేందుకు ‘సోపతులు’ (Sopathulu) వచ్చింది. ఇద్దరు విద్యార్థుల స్నేహ బంధం నేపథ్యంతో రూపొందిన సినిమా నేరుగా ఓటీటీ ‘ఈటీవీ విన్‌’ (ETV  Win)లో గురువారం విడుదలైంది. ఈ మిత్రుల కథేంటంటే? చింటు (మాస్టర్‌ భానుప్రకాశ్‌), గుడ్డూ (సృజన్‌) బెస్ట్‌ ఫ్రెండ్స్‌. ఆటల్లోనూ తమ మధ్య పోటీ ఉండకూడదనుకుంటారు. ఒకరిని విడిచి మరొకరు ఉండలేని వారు కొవిడ్‌ కారణంగా దూరమవ్వాల్సి వస్తుంది. లాక్‌డౌన్‌ వల్ల పని లేకపోవడం, చేసిన అప్పులు తీర్చలేక గుడ్డూ కుటుంబం మహబూబాబాద్‌ నుంచి సొంతూరికి వెళ్లిపోతుంది. గుడ్డూ దూరం కావడంతో చింటు ఒంటరి తనం ఫీలవుతాడు. దోస్తును కలుసుకునేందుకు వయసుకు మించిన ప్రయత్నాలు చేస్తాడు. మరోవైపు, గుడ్డూ సైతం ఎలాగైనా మిత్రుడిని చూడాలని ఫీట్లు చేస్తాడు. మరి, చింటు, గుడ్డూ కలిశారా? ఫొటోగ్రాఫర్‌గా స్థిరపడాలనే చింటు అన్నయ్య కల నెరవేరందా? అతడి ప్రేమకథ కంచికి చేరిందా? అన్నది సినిమా చూసి తెలుసుకోవాల్సిందే (Sopathulu Review).

కొవిడ్‌/లాక్‌డౌన్‌ను కథా వస్తువుగా తీసుకుని ఇప్పటికే పలువురు దర్శక, రచయితలు సినిమాలు తెరకెక్కించారు. అయితే వాటన్నింటికీ భిన్నమైంది ‘సోపతులు’. ఓ వైపు ఇద్దరి చిన్నారుల స్నేహాన్ని హృద్యంగా చూపిస్తూ మరోవైపు.. కొవిడ్‌ ఆగమనంతో మధ్య తరగతి కుటుంబాలు ఆగమైన తీరును కళ్లకు కట్టినట్టు చూపించారు దర్శకుడు అనంత్‌ వర్ధన్‌. ప్రేక్షకుడు బాల్యంలోకి తొంగి చూసే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. చింటు, గుడ్డూ, వారి కుటుంబ సభ్యుల పరిచయంతో సినిమా నెమ్మదిగా ప్రారంభమైనా ముందుకెళ్లే కొద్దీ ఆసక్తి కలుగుతుంది. గుడ్డూతో మాట్లాడాలని చింటు వాళ్ల నాన్నను అడగ్గా ఆయన కోపగించుకోవడం, పక్కింటి వాళ్ల దగ్గర ఫోన్‌ నెంబరు తీసుకోవడం.. ఇలా ఫ్రెండ్‌ కోసం చింటు చేసే ప్రయత్నాలు ప్రేక్షకుడిని కదిలిస్తాయి. ఆన్‌లైన్‌ క్లాస్‌లకు హాజరయ్యేందుకు స్మార్ట్‌ ఫోన్‌ కొనే ఆర్థిక స్తోమత తమకు లేదని తెలిసిన గుడ్డూ ఇతరులను అడిగి తీసుకోవడంవంటి సీన్స్‌ హృదయాన్ని హత్తుకుంటాయి. సందర్భానుసారం నవ్వులూ పంచుతారు. నేపథ్య సంగీతం వాటికి బలాన్ని చేకూర్చింది. ‘చదువు చేదుగా ఉన్నా అది అందించే ఫలాలు తియ్యగా ఉంటాయి’ అనే డైలాగ్‌ ఆలోచింపజేస్తుంది. కొంత మేర ఆ తరహాలో కథను నడిపించి ఉండే బాగుండేది.

చదువుపై అనాసక్తి కనబరిచి నచ్చిన పని చేస్తేనే సంతృప్తి అనుకునే ఎంతోమంది యువకులకు ప్రతిబింబంగా నిలుస్తుంది చింటు అన్నయ్య పాత్ర. గొప్ప ఫొటోగ్రాఫర్‌ కావాలని, పెద్ద కెమెరా కొనాలని రూపాయి రూపాయి కూడబెట్టుకోవడం యూత్‌కు కనెక్ట్‌ అవుతాయి. ఓ లవ్‌స్టోరీ తెరపైకి తీసుకొచ్చి ఆడియన్స్‌ను ఎంగేజ్‌ చేసే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. వయసు వ్యత్యాసం రీత్యా చిన్నప్పటి నుంచి కలిసి మెలిసి ఉండని అన్నదమ్ములు.. ప్రీ క్లైమాక్స్‌లో భావోద్వేగానికి గురి చేస్తారు. అదే సమయంలో.. తల్లీదండ్రులు, తోబుట్టువులు పట్టించుకోని కొందరు పిల్లల మనసు ఎలా విరిగిపోతుందో చింటు పాత్ర గుర్తుచేస్తుంది. చింటు పిలుపు మేరకు గుడ్డూ మహబూబాబాద్‌కు బయలుదేరతాడా, లేదా? అన్న ఉత్కంఠ కలిగించారు. క్లైమాక్స్‌ను సంతృప్తిగా మలిచారు. కాన్సెప్టునకు తగ్గట్టే దాదాపు గంటన్నర నిడివితో సినిమాని రూపొందించారు. పాత్రలూ తక్కువే. కానీ, కొన్ని క్యారెక్టర్ల విషయంలో అసంతృప్తి కలుగుతుంది. ‘కేరాఫ్‌ కంచరపాలెం’ ఫేమ్‌ మోహన్‌ భగత్‌ పోషించిన పాత్ర తదితర వాటికి సరైన ముగింపు ఇవ్వలేదు. 

మాస్టర్‌ భాను ప్రకాశ్‌ ప్రేక్షకులకు సుపరిచితుడే. ‘ఎన్టీఆర్‌ కథానాయకుడు’, ‘వెంకీమామ’, ‘కేజీయఫ్‌ 2’ వంటి ఎన్నో సినిమాలతో ప్రతిభ చాటాడు. చింటుగా మరోసారి ఆకట్టుకున్నాడు. గుడ్డూగా సృజన్‌ మెప్పిస్తాడు. చింటు అన్నయ్యగా మణి ఏగుర్ల, అనూష రమేశ్‌, అంజిమామ తదితరులు పాత్రల మేరకు నటించారు.

తల్లి (Abhirami) తప్ప మరో ప్రపంచం తెలియని యువకుడు రాధా. పెళ్లిళ్లు, ఇతర ఫంక్షన్లలో అమ్మాయిలకు చీరలు కట్టే (Saree Drapper) ఫ్రొఫెషన్‌ను కొనసాగిస్తుంటాడు. అమ్మాయిల మధ్య ఉన్నా ఆడవారంటే ఎలాంటి ఇంట్రెస్ట్ ఉండదు. దాంతో ఆయనకు మగతనం ఉందా? లేదా? అనే అనుమానం అందరికీ ఉంటుంది. అలాంటి యువకుడితో కృష్ణ (మనీషా కందూకూరి) ప్రేమలో పడుతుంది. చివరికి పెళ్లి చేసుకోవాలని నిర్ణయించుకొని నిశ్చితార్థం చేసుకొంటారు. ఆ తర్వాత రాధా మగతనంపై కృష్ణకు అనుమానం కలుగుతుంది.

రాధాకు అమ్మాయిలంటే ఎందుకు ఇష్టం ఉండదు? అందరికి డౌట్ ఉన్నట్టు అతడు మగాడేనా? అలాంటి వ్యక్తిని కృష్ణ ఎలా? ఎందుకు ఇష్టపడింది? నిశ్చితార్థం తర్వాత రాధాపై ఎందుకు అనుమానం వచ్చింది? వారిద్దరి మధ్య ఎంగేజ్‌మెంట్ బ్రేకప్ ఎలా జరిగింది? తల్లి చాటు బిడ్డగా రాధా ఎందుకు పెరిగాడు? నేటితరం యువకుడిలా రాధా ఎందుకు ఉండలేకపోయాడు? అనే ప్రశ్నలకు సమాధానమే భలే ఉన్నాడు! సినిమా కథ.

దర్శకుడు శివసాయి వర్ధన్ తన మదిలో మెదిలిన పాయింట్‌ను కథగా విస్తరించిన విధానం బాగుంది. ఫస్టాఫ్‌ను చాలా ఎమోషనల్, ఫన్‌తో చక్కగా నడిపించాడు. హీరో, హీరోయిన్ల క్యారెక్టర్లను ఆయన తీర్చి దిద్దిన విధానం బాగుంది. ముఖ్యంగా హీరోయిన్ కృష్ణ పాత్ర రాసుకొన్న తీరుకు.. ఆ అమ్మాయి చేసిన ఫెర్ఫార్మెన్స్‌ బ్యాలెన్స్ కావడంతో సినిమా ఫీల్‌గుడ్‌గా సాగిపోయింది. రకరకాల భావోద్వేగాలతో సినిమాను దర్శకుడు పరుగులు పెట్టించాడు. ఈ సినిమా హిట్ అనే ఫీలింగ్ కల్పించడంలో సక్సెస్ అయ్యాడనిపిస్తుంది.

ఇక సెకండాఫ్‌లో కూడా కథ, కథనాలను అనుసరించిన తీరు బాగుంది. లెజెండరీ డైరెక్టర్ సింగీతం శ్రీనివాసరావు, లీలా శ్యాంసన్‌ను దంపతులుగా చూపించి వారి మధ్య నడిపిన సున్నితమైన రొమాన్స్, డ్రామా అద్బుతంగా ఉంది. కానీ కమర్షియల్ వాల్యూస్ కోసం రచ్చ రవితో చేయించిన కామెడీ తర్వాత సినిమా ట్రాక్ తప్పిందనే ఫీలింగ్ కలుగుతుంది. అయితే కథకు బలంగా మారే పాయింట్ విషయంలో లాజిక్ మిస్ కావడం మైనస్‌గా అనిపిస్తుంది. కానీ ప్రీ క్లైమాక్స్ నుంచి చివరి సీన్ వరకు స్టోరిని నడిపించిన విధానంతో కొన్ని లోపాలు ఉన్నప్పటికీ మంచి సినిమా చూశామనే ఫీలింగ్‌ను దర్శకుడు కలిగించాడు.

ఇక రాజ్ తరుణ్ ఇప్పటి వరకు చేసిన పాత్రలు,సినిమాలు చూస్తే.. ఇది ఆయన కెరీర్‌లో నిజంగా డిఫరెంట్. ఎక్కడా క్యారెక్టర్ నుంచి బయటకు రాకుండా సటిల్‌గా ఫెర్ఫార్మెన్స్ మెప్పు పొందేలా నటించాడు. చాలా సీన్లలో భావోద్వేగాన్ని పండించాడు. తల్లితో ఉండే సీన్లలో ఫీల్ గుడ్ ఫ్యాక్టర్‌ను క్రియేట్ చేశాడు. ఇక హీరోయిన్ మనీషా ఫస్టాఫ్‌లో ఇరుగదీసింది. కొత్త అమ్మాయైనా అనుభవం ఉన్న యాక్టర్‌గా నటించింది. వీటీవీ గణేష్ సినిమాను వినోదంగా మార్చాడు. హైపర్ ఆది ఉన్నంత సేపు కామెడీ పండింది. అభిరామి, శ్రీనివాసరావు తదితరులు తమ పాత్రల పరిధి మేరకు ఫర్వాలేదనిపించారు.

సాంకేతిక విభాగాల పనితీరు విషయానికి వస్తే.. శేఖర్ చంద్ర మంచి మ్యూజిక్‌తో ఆకట్టుకొన్నాడు. ఫస్టాఫ్‌లో మూడు సిచ్యుయేషనల్ సాంగ్స్‌తో సాఫీగా కథను నడించేలా ట్యూన్స్ ఇచ్చాడనిపిస్తుంది. ఇక సినిమాటోగ్రఫి మరో ప్లస్ పాయింట్. విశాఖ అందాలను అద్బుతంగా కెమెరాలో బంధించాడు. శ్రీకాంత్ పట్నాయక్ ఎడిటింగ్, ఇతర విభాగాల పనితీరు బాగుంది. ముఖ్యంగా ప్రొడక్షన్ వాల్యూస్ రిచ్‌గా ఉన్నాయి. కథ, నటీనటుల ఎంపిక తీరు చూస్తే.. నిర్మాత ఎన్‌వీ కిరణ్ కుమార్‌కు సినిమాపై ఉన్న అభిరుచి, తపన స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తుంది. రాజీలేకుండా మంచి సినిమాను అందించే ప్రయత్నం చేశాడనిపిస్తుంది.

ఇక లవ్, ఫ్యామిలీ ఎమోషన్స్, ఓ సున్నితమైన పాయింట్ చుట్టూ వినోదాన్ని దట్టించి రూపొందించిన చిత్రం భలే ఉన్నాడే. ఫస్టాఫ్ ఫన్, కామెడీతో సరదాగా సాగిపోతూనే.. మంచి పాయింట్‌ను చెప్పే ప్రయత్నం చేయడం ఈ సినిమాకు పాజిటివ్‌గా మారింది. సెకండాఫ్‌లో ఫ్యామిలీ ఎమోషన్స్‌తో కథను చెప్పిన తీరు బాగుంది. కొన్ని విషయాల్లో ఎక్కడో లాజిక్ మిస్ అయ్యాడనే ఫీలింగ్ తప్పా ఎలాంటి కంప్లయింట్స్ లేకుండా ఫక్కాగా కుటుంబ కథా చిత్రంగా తీసి మెప్పించారనే చెప్పాలి. ఈ వారం ఫ్యామిలీ, ఫన్ ఉన్న సినిమాను చూడాలనుకొంటే... భలే ఉన్నాడే సినిమాను ఎలాంటి అనుమానం లేకుండా చూడొచ్చు. మంచి అనుభూతిని పొందే అంశాలు పుష్కలంగా ఉన్నాయి.

The highly anticipated Ayudha Pooja song from NTR’s most eagerly awaited pan-India action drama, Devara, was scheduled to be released tomorrow morning at 11:07 AM. After the massive buzz created by Fear Song and Chuttamalle, all eyes are on Ayudha Pooja, composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

However, here comes a disappointing update for all the fans of NTR. Devara makers took to X and announced that the Ayudha Pooja song will not be released tomorrow. “AyudhaPooja is a MADNESS that deserves to be celebrated to the fullest. The song won’t be releasing tomorrow. We’ll bring you the SAME HIGH you’ve been waiting for!,” the makers tweeted. The new release date of Ayudha Pooja will be out soon.

Also starring Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles, Devara, a Koratala Siva directorial, is produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Mikkilineni Sudhakar, and Kosaraju Hari Krishna. The film will have a pan-Indian release on September 27.
