  3. Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing

    The Rutgers-Camden MFA comprises 39 total credits, or 13 courses: Five creative writing workshops (15 credits) Our workshops are small, personal, and productive. In keeping with our multi-genre approach, at least two workshops will be in your genre of concentration (fiction, poetry, or nonfiction), and at least one will be in different genre.

    Writing Sample and Personal Statement Upload your writing sample and personal statement to the online portal. Your writing sample should represent your strongest work, whether published or not. You may submit fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, or a combination thereof. Prose should be double-spaced in size 12 font; poetry can be single-spaced.
