A classroom is a learning place where we learn academic and social skills. The classroom plays an essential role in the overall development of an individual. The school teachings help us develop into good human beings both for educational and social purposes.

My classroom is situated opposite the principal's room. There is a big garden in between them. In our free time, we see the children playing basketball, Kho-kho, badminton etc. In my classroom, there is a notice board which is decorated by us. We have decorated the board with motivational quotes, names of students of the class and their birthdays. My classroom is considered one of the beautiful classrooms of the school.

My classroom is situated near the school library on the ground floor. So, whenever there is a free period, we go to the library and read our favourite books and newspapers. Another reason I enjoy my class is the teacher, who is always so kind and encourages us to participate in various activities. She always motivates us to participate in competitions with the management of studies. She inspires us to be perfect both in academic as well as extracurricular activities.

My classroom is different from the whole school. This is because various students in my classroom are best in various fields. The sports students always bring medals in state and national level tournaments. Every year, the school, as well as state toppers, come from my classroom.

My Classroom Experience

I like enjoying nature and love to spend time in nature. The natural environment of my classroom gives me the same feeling as many beautiful flowers and trees are in front of my classroom. I have also grown some of them.

I love to decorate the classroom walls with beautiful crafts and academic charts. Also, there is a knowledge wall where I paste important current affairs newspaper cuttings daily. During the festive seasons, I also give my contribution to class decoration. I decorate the classroom with rangoli, light diyas and candles on Diwali. I also participate in quizzes and essay competitions. Thus, the classroom is a precious memory for me.

A classroom is the soul of every student. We will always remember this place as being unforgettably memorable. What we become in real life is shaped by school. It had a fantastic effect on students for the rest of their lives. All of us enjoy ourselves a lot in school. The relevance of the classroom for students and youngsters is beyond words. Though some children don't like going to school after they pass out, they miss it the most.

Introduction

Every child loves his class because there are many memories they have in each class. Apart from some memorable days, some decent things make my class the best one. Every year we change our class still each and every class seems the best to me this shows that my school is also the best one.

My Decent Classroom

I am Riddhi of class 3 A, my class is just beside the basketball court. From one side we enjoy a live basketball match whereas at the same time we can also enjoy the shade of a mango tree.

The perfect location of my class makes it decent and also encourages me to stay in my class.

We always watch students practicing on the basketball court and it really inspires us, because they practice so hard and for so long hours. I have seen many students who were unable to do a goal but their practice made them state level players.

Apart from the basketball court we also love playing with the leaves of the mango tree. Generally, we have to climb up a tree to reach its top, but the top portion of the tree can be easily touched from our classroom window. Apart from studies and friends, these things make my class decent and I love to be there.

There are different reasons to love something and the above reasons that help me to love my class. A classroom is a place where we learn and when we love being their then education seems interesting. I love my class, my teachers as well as my friends.

Essay 2 (400 Words) – Why is My Class Different

A room where I am with 30 more students, space were my teachers come to teach me, and a place where I perform all kinds of notorious task. I call it my classroom, a place where I learn addition and subtraction and the difference between smiling and laughing in the presence of my teacher. My classroom is one of the best classes in my school due to many reasons.

What Makes my Class Different?

There are many things that make us different from others similarly there are many things that make our class different. I have discussed the points below;

Types of Students in My Class

Every class has a topper and a failure but my class topper is a school topper and because of this our class is always famous in my school. Apart from this, there is no student who used to fail or use to be promoted in my class.
In my class, there are two singers and they always secure the first two ranks in any singing competition held at my school. They are really very good singers and we love listening to them.
There is also a group of six girls who are famous for dancing, and they always perform on special occasions. Really 6B is a famous class for all types of activities. They also take part in the school choir group and also represent our school in different competitions.
There is a national level badminton player in the under 16 groups, he always makes us feel proud. He is an inspiration not only for the students of the primary section but also for the secondary wing.
A combination of such types of students makes us feel superior and we feel special. Everyone knows us that we are from that unique class in which each and every student is special.
My class teacher is another reason for loving my class; she is so polite and always inspires us to take part in several activities. She is our class teacher so whenever we have to go for practice, she allows us and takes our extra class in our free period and in this way, it becomes easy for us to concentrate on our studies.

It is always recommended to have good friends but when you have an artistic class then how can you stay behind from learning from them. Our principal and other teachers also admire them and our class is really one of the best in our school.

This shows that learning all the subjects are necessary and once you get the basic knowledge then you can choose as per your interest in higher classes.

We are Invited for Creativity

The very best part of my class is our teachers inspire us to think and develop our own ideas. There is a creative wall in my class and a student is free to post anything creative. It should not be copied from anywhere. This inspires us to utilize our studies and bring some creative ideas. And it looks so good to have you painting or any creative idea on the wall with your name in bold letters. I really love it.

Looks Decent

In my school, every class gets a theme, and students have to decorate their class as it is. So, our theme is ‘Space’. So, the whole class looks so good that I can’t express in words. We have decorated our beaches like space ships and really our class looks like a space centre. The class board is decorated in such a way that it looks like a window of a space ship.

An Achievement Wall

There is an achievement wall in our class where students’ pics are posted. Every week different competitions are organized in our house meetings and those who win; their pictures are posted on this wall. It inspires other students to perform well and get space on this wall. Whenever there is any kind of inspection in our school, various teachers and principal sir visit our class and they admire those students as well as this idea of the achievement wall.

Weekend Activities

All of us celebrate our weekend in different ways, sometimes we visit a place, and sometimes we simply stay at home. So, those who spend their weekend at a new place or do something new are invited to express their views in a free period. It helps us to know those new places to visit next time and really a very new concept which is only followed in our class.

Social Media Touch-up

My classroom activities are updated on social media by our class teachers and this inspires us to perform well. In this way, we are also connected with many other people and I really like this concept.

Learning should be fun and my class is the best example of this. We celebrate together learn together and also enjoy ourselves together. Others should also learn from our class and all the credit goes to my class teacher. She is so good that our class became our favorite spot. Everything in the class inspires us and I proudly say that; that is my class. My class has also won the best class prize this year and every day we develop new ideas to make it the best learning place. Many students use to bunk the class but these changes also encourage them to stay in the class and learn new things.

6 Steps for Turning Around Middle School Classroom Behavior

Having kids write essays to reflect on their behavior seems like a great idea…but maybe there’s a better way.

“I don’t understand why you have all suddenly completely forgotten how to behave in a classroom. To help you remember, I want a two-page essay for homework about what the expectations are in our class and why you can’t behave today.”

When the whole class has taken leave of their senses and you end a class period in a state of extreme frustration bordering on homicidal rage, an essay like this makes a lot of sense. It induces suffering—always good—and feels like a natural consequence of their behavior—also good. There are a few problems, though.

First, if you’re lucky, two-thirds of the kids will actually complete the assignment. I can guarantee you that it will be the students who had nothing to do with the misbehavior. The actual instigators are definitely not going to write the essay, which means that either they get away with whatever havoc they’ve wreaked, or you have to find a new and exciting way to make them suffer.

Second, you have to grade those essays. And that’s awful. Why would you do that to yourself? And third, all those essays are going to say exactly the same thing. “The expectations are that we do our work and listen to directions. We didn’t do that today because we were being crazy. We should do what the teacher tells us to because we are at school to learn.”

A couple of years ago, I tried something new to replace the Rhetorical Essay of Shame and Suffering. I asked the same questions … but I actually wanted to know the answer. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of how I now handle whole-class chaos:

Step 1: Kids act crazy.

I deal with it in all the ways I normally do—humor, focusing on the kids who are doing what they’re supposed to, changing up the activity, whatever. If all this fails, I move on to …

Step 2: Sit down and wait for silence.

It will come eventually. Don’t make eye contact with kids. Just sit and stare at your fingernails until they get curious and shut the hell up.

Step 3: Complete honesty.

“I’m really frustrated right now, and I’m trying not to take it out on people who are doing what they’re supposed to. You guys don’t usually act like this in my class. Can somebody tell me what’s going on with you today?” Then you wait. The first time you try this, chances are nobody will say anything.

Step 4: Offer suggestions.

Did something happen in another class? Do they not understand the assignment? Did they have multiple tests today and just need five minutes to move around before getting focused? Yeah, this may burn up some class time that you were planning to use on something else. But let’s face it: They already weren’t learning anything today, thanks to their ridiculous behavior! At this point, they probably still won’t tell you anything. Don’t worry! Move on to the next step!

Step 5: Give the assignment.

“So it looks like you need some time to think about why you’re acting this way, and that’s fine. But I want to understand what’s going on, because I usually leave your class feeling great, and today I’m Googling what kind of health insurance Walmart offers their employees. So here’s what I want you to write about for homework. What went wrong today? Why was your class having so much trouble getting it together? And what steps can I take as your teacher to help you out and make sure we have a better day tomorrow?”

Step 6: Bring the pain.

“I was hoping we could do this fun activity today, but I’m too frustrated and I don’t think you guys are focused enough to do it. So I think we’re going to get ahead on next week’s grammar notes instead, because I want to save a group project for a day when you can handle it. I look forward to reading your suggestions tomorrow so we can figure out a way to make fun activities work in our class.”

You’re done. Here’s what happens next. The kids do the assignment. At least, most of them do. The good kids, instead of being punished for the other kids’ actions, have had a chance to share their side of the story and be heard. The kids who were misbehaving, in many cases, will actually give you good suggestions. Maybe they need a seating change. Maybe something is going on in the class period before yours that needs to be addressed. Maybe somebody brought cupcakes to lunch yesterday and they were just on a sugar high.

Regardless of why they were acting the fool, you now have some insight into their behavior. More importantly, you’ve positioned yourself on their team. This is a class problem and everyone— including the teacher—is working together to solve it. You’re looking for ways to change your behavior as well as theirs, and kids will appreciate that. And the best part? While you do have to read their responses and adapt your class accordingly, you don’t have to grade them or track down late assignments. Less work for you, less resentment from the kids, and hopefully most of them get their shizz together so that you don’t have to do this again for at least a few weeks.

Essay Writing are common in elementary, middle, high school, and college, and one may even need to write essays in the business world. An essay is defined as a short piece of writing that expresses information as well as the writer’s opinion. An essay is, generally, a piece of writing that gives the author’s own argument but the definition is vague, overlapping with those of a paper, an article, a pamphlet, and a short story. Essays have traditionally been sub-classified as formal and informal.

Essay Writing Example

For some, writing an essay is as simple as sitting down at their computer and beginning to type, but a lot more planning goes into writing an essay successfully. If you have never written an essay before, or if you struggle with writing and want to improve your skills, it is a good idea to go through several steps in the process.

For example, to write an essay, you should generally:

Decide what kind of essay to write.
Brainstorm your topic.
Do research.
Outline your essay.
Focus on Coherence of idea.
Edit your writing to check spelling and grammar.

Kinds of Essays

The first step to writing an essay is to decide what kind of essay to write. There are several main structures into which essays can be grouped:

Narrative Essays: Tell a story or impart information about your subject in a straightforward, orderly, manner.
Descriptive Essays: Focus on the details of what is going on. For example, if you want to write a descrip tive essay about your trip to the park, you would give great detail about what you experienced: how the grass felt beneath your feet, what the park benches looked like, and anything else the reader would need to feel as if he were there.
Persuasive Essay: Convince the reader of some point of view.
Comparative Essay: Compare two or more different things.
Expository Essay: Explain to the reader how to do a given process. You could, for example, write an expository essay with step-by-step instructions on how to make a peanut butter sandwich.

Essay Writing On My Hobby

I am 12 years old and read in class 7th standard. Now I know very well that reading is very good habit which can make me a complete. My hobby is reading interesting and knowledgeable books in my free time. Whenever I go to home from my school I like to read such books after completing my home work. This hobby can be developed by anyone however I got this naturally. Reading books keep one always happy and busy and create interest in advancing the knowledge.

It is the good source of enjoyment, knowledge, inspiration and instruction. It makes us disciplined, loyal, punctual and most importantly a successful person in the life. The habit of reading books can be acquired at young age by anyone. Through this habit of book readings one may feel energetic and advancing the knowledge through the good habit of acquiring it through books.

Essay Writing On Independence Day

In India, Independence Day is celebrated by the people of all religions, cultures and traditions with great joy and happiness. Independence Day in India is observed on 15th of August every year from 1947 as our country became independent on the same day from the British rule almost after 200 years of slavery.

It has been declared as the national holiday when all the schools (government or private), offices, colleges, universities, educational institutions, organizations, companies and business centres remain closed. It is celebrated with big enthusiasm in every schools, colleges and other educational institutions by the students and staff.

Republic day also called as 26 January which is celebrated every year as this day is of great importance for every Indian. Because at this day India was declared as the republic country as well as constitution of India came into force after independence of long years of struggle. India got independence on 15th of August in 1947 and two and half years later it became a Democratic Republic.

On 20th of August 1947 a draft committee was constituted to prepare a draff for permanent constitution of India. Dr. B.R. India is the great country known as the land of festivals. One of the famous and most celebrated festival is “Diwali or Deepawali” which falls every year 20 days after the festival of Dussehra in the month of October or November. It is celebrated to commemorate the returning of Lord Rama to the Kingdom after the 14 years of exile. In the evening, Lakshmi puja is held by the people at their home by lighting lamps. People take bath, wear new clothes and then start puja.

After puja they distribute prasad and share gifts to each other. They pray to God for the happy and prosperous life and in the last they enjoy burning fire crackers and playing games.

The national flag of India is our pride for the country. The Indian national flag contains three colours and thus also called as the Tiranga. The uppermost saffron colour indicates sacrifice and selflessness, middle white colour indicates truth, peace and purity and lowermost green colour indicates youth and energy. I have a white coloured, soft and furry cat. It is a Himalayan Cat. These cats are known for their soft furry coats and that is what attracted me too and decided to have the cat as our pet animal. Since I am a single child, my parents decided to get me a pet. They asked me if I wanted a dog or a cat and I instantly chose the latter.

My father took me to a pet shop and my heart went pounding for this cute little white kitten with grey ears. We brought it home and since then it has been my best friend. I have named it Rosie.

Rosie is there with us since the last two years and has become a part of our family. I love playing with it. I play with it in the house and also take it out in the park every evening. I bathe it twice a month with the help of my mother. Bathing sessions are super fun for me as well as Rosie. My mother makes it a point to comb Rosie’s furry coat every day.

We have a separate set of combs, brushes, shampoo and soaps for Rosie. We also take good care of her diet. We bring home special cat food for her. I love my pet cat.

Holi is the great festival of colours, celebrated every year by the Hindu with the other religion people in India. Holi festival falls every year in the spring season in the month of Falgun (or March). It is one of the happiest festivals of the Hindus like Diwali. We enjoy this festivals with our colleagues/ friends irrespective of caste, colour and creed and feel like unity in diversity.

My father has a transferable job and hence we are always on a move. We have changed as many as four cities since my childhood. I never thought that there would be any one city that I would really be able to call home until I moved to Jaipur. It has been just two years that we have shifted to this place but it feels like home already.

All the movements had shaken the British rule in India and inspired lots of common Indian citizens to fight for the freedom. No one else in the world has reached to his fame. He had served the country and laid his life for it.

The full name of Dr. APJ abdul Kalam was Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam. He is popularly known as the Missile Man of India and People’s President. He was a great personality and inspiration to the youngsters of country who took his last breath at IIM, Meghalaya on 27th of July in 2015 because of the sudden cardiac arrest. He is not present among us physically however his great works and contributions would be with us forever. He has mentioned his dream of making India a developed country in his book “India 2020-A vision for the New Millennium”.
