These 6 Emotional Speeches Will Remind You What a Beautiful Person You Are

These 6 Emotional Speeches Will Remind You What a Beautiful Person You Are

We live in an age where self-care has become a priority. Whether its waking up early for that yoga class or hitting the gym after a day at the office, we value our bodies and what we put in them. Unlike generations before us, we make it a point to treat ourselves.

However, like all imbalances, focusing on one need - in this case, the physical - shifts attention away from your emotional needs. Self-love can be defined as loving yourself emotionally irrespective of what you have; it’s knowing your worth and valuing yourself for it.

RELATED: The Most Powerful Speech On How To Achieve Anything You Want

Many people struggle to maintain this type of well-being throughout their week. Unlike self-care, self-love is a more conscious exercise that requires daily practice to be effective. It is easy to conflate the two practices and mistake loving yourself by the acts of self-care you engage in. Yet, doing so is a disservice - as you are only treating yourself at a symptom-level, a physical-level. Self-love is treating yourself at the source.

So mine deep, and love deeper.

Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio's True Friendship

Kate Winslet has not always been sure of herself. "I was always comparing myself to others. You see I've been bullied at school, they call me blubber, they teased me for wanting to act."

While it's nearly impossible to think of the gorgeous and talented Winslet as anything other than a force to be reckoned with, years of being teased and the media's love for taking shots at her weight did their damage.

Mom Asks Woman To Give Up Her First-Class Seat For Her Child - People Are Applauding Her Response

Woman Refuses to Give Her First Class Seat to Mom and Child

Flying first-class is a luxury most of us will never get to experience. So when a woman's boyfriend surprised her with a ticket on a long-haul flight she was thrilled.

Legroom for days, next-level service, snuggling under a complimentary duvet with a down pillow on your LIE-FLAT seat, AND sipping champagne? Seriously, what's not to love?

Needless to say, it didn't disappoint. What did disappoint, however, was a mother and plane staff asking the woman to switch seats with a child in ECONOMY shortly before take-off. She politely declined. But now she's wondering, AITAH? The internet has thoughts.

Woman Takes To Reddit After Refusing to Give Up Seat to a Child

In a post on Reddit's popular AITAH (am I the a--hole) forum, the user, 21, shared that her boyfriend, 27, had been "doing well in his career" and surprised her with first-class tickets on two connecting 12-hour flights.

It was a dream come true for the woman who "grew up lower middle class" and "had never ever flown higher than the cheapest seats on a plane before."

However, her dream quickly turned into a nightmare when a flight attendant put her in the highly awkward position of requesting she switch to economy class so a mother and child could sit together.

"About 20 minutes before takeoff, a flight attendant approached me with a woman and a young kid (maybe around 6 years old)," the Redditor wrote.

"The woman explained that she had booked a first-class ticket for herself and her son, but due to a booking error, he ended up in economy. She asked if I would be willing to switch seats with her son so he could experience first class as well."

She "politely declined" the request explaining that it was a gift from her boyfriend and her first time in first class and she really wanted to experience it.

"The woman seemed pretty upset and tried to argue that her son would appreciate it more than me, and that it was unfair because I didn't even pay for the ticket myself," she wrote, adding, "The flight attendant seemed to be on the woman's side, subtly implying that I should consider being more understanding."

After an uncomfortable minute or so, the woman's boyfriend came to her defense, telling the flight attendant that "he had bought the tickets, that he was a platinum member of the airline, and that he tends to book all of his company's business trip flights with the airline, and if she booted me to the economy, he would take his business elsewhere."

Eventually, the mother and son "went back to business class." But it was too late, the magic was lost. The Redditor claimed that for the duration of the flight, she could "feel the flight attendant glaring at me every time she passed by."

Response To The Reddit Post

Despite her boyfriend's reassurance that she "did nothing wrong" and "it was disrespectful for her to even ask" for her seat in the first place, the woman still couldn't shake it off.

It didn't help that some of her friends questioned her choice "saying that it would have been the kind thing to do." Hence, going to the masses for popular opinion. The consensus was overwhelmingly in her favor.

" Nta. The mom can sit in the back and her kid can sit upfront. Problem solved. No one should ever ever be allowed to ask to switch seats."

"NTA?? I have no idea why they were so adamant about you moving, it was not YOUR fault that they had a BOOKING ERROR. Your boyfriend paid for that service for you to enjoy and you have every right to. That woman did not pay for your seat so if she has an issue, she needs to take it up to the airline instead of trying to guilt trip you into giving up your seat for a kid that is not your issue."

"NTA...I don't believe for one second there was a booking error. She was trying to scam a free 1st class flight. Also if it was so important for her kid to experience 1st class, she could switch seats with him."

"NTA. The flight attendant had no right insisting that you should switch seats if you don’t want to. They could have picked anyone else in first class to request a switch for, but they chose you. Why? Because you’re young and could be intimidated into doing it? Clearly not because you were traveling alone because you weren’t. I would have told them no too. That’s a good boyfriend you have there."

And this brings up an interesting point. According to the OP (original poster), there were eight seats in first class. Besides the woman and her boyfriend, there were "three guys in suits," "an older, married couple," and the mother. So why was the young woman targeted?

The Importance of Advocating For Yourself

If there was, in fact, a booking error it should have been the airline's responsibility to handle it. It should not have been placed on a fellow passenger to rectify the situation and she shouldn't have been made to feel guilty about saying no.

No one likes being put in the position of the "bad guy." But as popular opinion proves, standing up for yourself, especially in a situation where you have rightfully earned a privilege doesn't make you a bad guy. It makes you someone who understands that you are entitled to what you paid for and personal boundaries are a good thing.

The woman's experience serves as a good reminder that while kindness and empathy are vital, so too are personal rights.

Stranger Helps Black Woman Having Panic Attack on Flight

Flying is a great way to travel. It's quick, you get to sit back and relax while someone else does all the driving, and you get to travel to places you may otherwise never see.

Yet, for many of us, flying comes with some unwanted baggage: also known as crippling anxiety and all-out terror. After all, hurtling through the air at 38,000 feet in a metal tube can be daunting (to say the least).

For one young woman, a recent flight had her anxiety soaring to new heights...and then a kind stranger stepped in.

A Stranger Helps Out a Fellow Passenger

from MadeMeSmile

In a Reddit post that has gone viral with over 29,000 upvotes, the original poster (who posts as @narrow_ad_2695) recounted what happened on a recent flight to New York City.

"On a flight into NYC today. On the left of the aisle was a young Black woman. On the other side of the aisle an older white guy. They were traveling separately."

As the plane was coming in to land, it hit some turbulence. Which, for even the most seasoned flyer, can cause a flutter of anxiety.

For this female passenger, however, her anxiety went immediately to Defcon 5, plunging her into a "full-blown panic attack." For anyone who has never experienced a panic attack, they're no joke. The intense, overwhelming sense of fear and dread triggers severe physical reactions, including palpitations, sweating, chest pain, dizziness, and difficulty breathing.

Seeing her distress, the stranger "reached across the aisle, tapped her gently on the shoulder and asked if she was ok."

She was decidedly NOT OK.

By this point, her thoughts of certain impending doom had completely and utterly annihilated any rational thought that may have been trying to take up space in her brain.

"She turned to him and grabbed his hand so tightly, tears streaming down her face," the OP wrote. "She said, 'I can't do this' and he calmly said, 'We're going to be fine. You'll see.'"

"The man just let her grip his hand all the way until we landed."

To have someone reach out and say it's okay meant the entire world at that moment. According to the OP, the woman was able to calm down and get through the rest of the flight. Once the aircraft landed, she "grabbed his hand with both of hers," and thanked him for being there.

"In a country where it feels pretty divided, this was just a wonderful moment to witness."

The Power of Real Human Connection

It's no secret that the United States is rife with political, social, and cultural divisions. From contentious elections to polarizing social issues, the country is grappling with an ever-increasing divide, leaving people feeling disconnected and uncared for.

And, let's face it, it's not just a US problem. Globally, we're not doing so great either. But it's stories like these that remind us that kindness and connection still exist in the world.

"I'm not sure why, but this made me cry. Some people just come along and restore your faith in humanity," one commenter wrote.

Another commenter wrote, "This is what being a good human looks like. It doesn't matter race, religion, or creed. Just be a good person. We're all on the same ride and need help here and there."

And then there was this comment, "I was recently stuck at a small airport with about 50 people, maybe more. The lady sitting next to me quietly called a nearby pizza place and ordered a bunch of huge pizzas for everyone, including TSA. Sometimes ordinary people do extraordinary things." For real.

So often, it can feel like we are all alone in our struggles, that no one else sees what we're going through. But sometimes, someone comes along who truly sees us.

And instead of turning a blind eye, or walking away, they join us in the dark and just sit with us. Reminding us that we are not alone and reassuring us that we will get through it.

By meeting his fellow passenger where she was and simply being present with her, this man turned a terrifying experience into a beautiful reminder of the power of extending a helping hand.

There is a lot of work and preparation that goes into writing a speech. If you're writing a speech about yourself, you need to consider a variety of factors, including your audience, the purpose of the speech, and how long your speech should be. With a good amount of preparation, planning, and editing, you can craft a speech that introduces yourself effectively and entertainingly.

speech about love yourself brainly

Prewriting Your Speech

Step 1 Clarify the purpose of your speech.

  • One method for brainstorming is to create a mind map. You can do this with a paper and pencil, starting by writing your central idea or theme in the middle of the page. Then use lines to connect ideas and points that branch off from this central idea. For a speech about yourself, you might start with a central bubble labeled "Me". Then you might have three or four bubbles connected to the central one that say things like "Interests", "Aspirations", etcetera. Then as you continue branching out the bubbles will get more specific.
  • There are other methods for brainstorming you might find useful. You could try the alphabet method, where you list a few things related to the subject of your speech for each letter, starting with A and working down.
  • Another brainstorming method is the three perspectives method. You think about the subject of the speech in three perspectives. First, describe the subject, which is yourself in this case. Then, trace it. Trace your history, where you came from and where you've come to, and how you've changed over that journey. Finally, map it. Think about who and what has influenced you and how. How do you fit into the bigger picture. [3] X Trustworthy Source University of North Carolina Writing Center UNC's on-campus and online instructional service that provides assistance to students, faculty, and others during the writing process Go to source

Step 3 Tailor your content to your audience and purpose.

  • It's worth thinking about various aspects of the audience, because this will determine various aspects of your speech, such as its length, its tone, etcetera.
  • For example, if your audience is a wedding reception, and this is a best man speech, your audience will be most interested in your relationship with the groom and your history with him. You also don't want a speech like this to drag on because the best man isn't the focal point of the event.

Writing Your Speech

Step 1 Review your assignment.

  • The most important difference between a long and a short speech is the amount of detail. A two minute speech in which you introduce yourself to a class will have a short intro that might be just your opening statement. There might be only a paragraph or two in the body of the speech, and the conclusion will probably be only a sentence or two.
  • A ten to fifteen minute speech will have an introduction that in itself has a beginning, middle, and end, an opening statement, an introduction fo the main points of speech, and a summary of the main theme. The body might consist of four to six paragraphs, and each one will include both explanations of the main points, as well as examples. The conclusion will be a lengthier summary, and might include a sentence or two that ties the theme of the speech into a broader context.

Step 2 Write an outline.

  • Depending on the length of your speech, you may need to break up the body section into multiple parts, like "Paragraph 1," "Paragraph 2," etcetera.
  • Speeches two minutes and shorter should have one or two main points, which can probably fit into a single body paragraph.
  • Speeches between two and five minutes should have two to three main points, given a paragraph each in the body.
  • Longer speeches, over five minutes, should have up to five main points, given a paragraph each in the body.
  • At this stage, you should also begin thinking about how your content will be organized. For a speech about yourself, it would make sense to either organize your content chronologically, with each main point being a different period in your history, or topically, with each main point as a different topic related to yourself.

Step 3 Plan your opening statement.

  • If this is a simple, short speech, meant to introduce you to your class or group, you can start with a basic introduction that includes a brief greeting, your name, and the purpose of the speech. This can look something like "Good morning everyone! My name is so-and-so and I'd like to take this chance to introduce myself to the group."
  • If this speech about yourself is for a more specific purpose than just introducing yourself, you may want to make the introduction a little more entertaining and interesting. You can start with a provocative question, a shocking fact, a joke, or an evocative image. For example, if your speech is about an interesting aspect of your life, like your unusual profession, you can start with something like "Imagine waking up every morning to sound of safari wildlife in every direction around you."

Step 4 Finish the introduction.

  • For example, if you're giving a small speech about yourself to your class you can say something like "First I'll tell you a little bit about my past, and then I'll tell you about some of my interests and aspirations. I'll close with my plans for my career."

Step 5 Continue with the body of the speech.

  • For example, if you're writing an introductory speech for a college organization, like a photography club, you might start the body with a paragraph about how you got interested in photography. The opening sentence might go like "Photography caught my interest very early on, especially with its ability to caption and preserve life's precious moments." The closing sentence might look like "Since then, I've been eagerly pursuing more knowledge on the ins and outs of what makes a photo great."

Step 6 End with a strong conclusion.

  • For example, if your speech was about your interest and experience in the film industry, you can tie your own experiences with the idea of cinema on a grand scale. The conclusion should focus on the overarching importance of the topic of your speech.
  • If your speech is simply to introduce yourself, you can end with a less grand conclusion. The conclusion of a self-introduction speech should reiterate and summarize the most important parts of your speech, the main details about yourself that you shared.

Improving Your Speech

Step 1 Take inspiration from other speeches.

  • Read your speech out loud as well. This will help you hear the rhythm of the speech and make adjustments to improve its flow. Fragments are okay, as long as they're used sparingly. Use active verbs in favor of passive ones.
  • When reading your speech out loud to yourself, note any sentences that are too long to be spoken comfortably in one breath. Split these sentences up as you edit.

Step 3 Include signposts.

  • When running through a short list of ideas, numeric signposts are used like "first," "second," and "third," or "firstly," "secondly," and "thirdly."
  • Signposts that show how two ideas relate to each other include, "furthermore," "in addition," "nevertheless," "however," "subsequently," and "for instance."
  • Major signposts tell the listener where in the speech you are. For example, the first paragraph will often start with something like, "I'd like to start by..." and the final paragraph will often start with something like "To summarize..."

Step 4 Avoid cliches.

  • What do you replace cliches with? First you have to deduce the basic meaning of the cliche phrase, then you can either think of a more interesting way to say the same thing, or, in many cases, you can forgo the phrase entirely.
  • For example, the phrase "in conclusion" means that you are signaling that you going to summarize all the ideas previously stated. This can be replaced by something like, "So what does this all mean?" or "I've told you a lot about myself. Here's the reason."
  • Often, cliche phrases are just filler that don't add anything important to the speech. Instead of saying, "Today I'll be talking to you about..." just start talking about it.

Step 5 Talk about yourself with humble confidence.

  • Avoid speaking too highly of yourself. For example, saying "everyone know's that I'm the best soccer player on the team..." when receiving the captain award in the presence of your entire soccer team probably won't go over well.
  • If, for example, you're the best soccer player on your team, you can instead humbly highlight your accomplishments by saying something like, "I've beat my personal record this season and scored 12 total goals. While it feels great to set this record, I know that it wouldn't be possible without the hard work and help of my teammates."
  • If you feel uncomfortable, it's okay to add some humor or briefly acknowledge that you feel awkward about talking about yourself. This will just make your audience feel like they can relate better to you.

Step 6 Find a friend or teacher who can help.

Michelle Golden, PhD

Before you start writing a speech about yourself, create an outline on a blank page with the headings Introduction, Body, and Conclusion. Then, add bullet points under each section, and fill them in with the key issues you want to discuss. In the Introduction, tell your audience who you are and explain briefly what you'll cover in the speech. Additionally, you'll want to have 1-2 main ideas in the body if the speech is for 2 minutes, or 3 ideas if it's a 5-minute speech. Finally, write a conclusion to sum up the main points you've made. What Is an Introductory Speech?

An introductory speech is a speech talking about yourself and particular aspects of yourself to persuade a crowd or perhaps reach a certain goal. Too burnt out? If you need a writer to help you make a speech, then you should consider outsourcing some of the writing to a professional.

But if you decide to take on the challenge of writing a self-introduction speech, after all, you should remember that the point of it is to communicate who you are to your audience first and foremost.

Start With an Outline

Preparation is key when writing an introductory speech. As an example, we’ve given you an entire speech outline that focuses on personal achievements at work and school. Of course, the content of your speech can change depending on the context. But the basic structure stays the same. Here it is:

Introduction. In the intro, state any fundamental information about you. This includes your full name, faculty, expertise, and college/university if you are attending one. Use a hook to get your audience invested in what you have to say.

‍ Informative Body Part . If the goal is to persuade and present oneself in a good light through personal achievements, then the body part should be as straightforward as possible. You can start by talking about:

  • Personal experiences and achievements
  • Professional experience, work life, and professional achievements, your expertise, and specialty
  • Social activities like volunteering, community work, charities, etc.
  • Your educational background

Bonus Information. Include info on your skills, hobbies, and any additional languages you might speak.

Conclusion. You can write about future goals, dreams, and ambitions here.

You are slowly learning how to write a speech about yourself the right way. Keep reading.

What You Can Write About Yourself in a Speech

When writing and delivering an engaging ‘all about me’ speech, you can consider including the following (if it’s context-appropriate):

  • Telling a personal story about your life and experiences
  • Using quotes that motivate and inspire. Only use quotes that have a significant meaning to you
  • Asking questions to further engage the audience

Speeches are similar to rhetorical analysis, so you might learn a thing or two from reading up on them. Moreover, there is no one way to answer the question ‘how to write a persuasive speech’, but you can interject these elements in between information about yourself to keep it dynamic.

Writing a Two Minute Speech About Yourself

If you want to write a 2-minute speech about yourself, then it’s important to write about what matters since time is so limited. If you want to freshen up your writing, review types of sentences for a memory boost. But don’t stretch yourself too thin.

Let’s look at an example of how to write a speech. Let’s say you’re writing a speech for a job opportunity. Here are some things you can keep in mind but can also be applied to other contexts:

  • Mention your current job and your educational background, and don’t forget to talk about your dreams and goals.
  • Get into detail. Mention what you did in your job and your professional achievements. Don’t be vague. You want to radiate confidence and provide concrete information.
  • Talk with enthusiasm . Charisma can sometimes be seen from a mile. Do you think a recruiter would hire a monotonous and overly hesitant speaker over someone charismatic, precise, and enthusiastic?

Do you know anything about the case study format ? If not, we urge you to read our blog article.

Persuasive Speech Outline

An introductory speech could also be persuasive, especially if you’re trying to get the audience to agree with your point of view. That’s the essence of a persuasive speech - to persuade. If you’re confused, start with a persuasive speech outline of the course. It could resemble this:

  • Introduction : Include a hook, information about the topic, and perspective that you want to talk about, and then hit the audience with your thesis/claim.
  • Body : Extrapolate on the points you made in the intro, just like in an essay. Start with the main ideas, then follow up with evidence.
  • Conclusion : Restate the main idea/claim of your choosing. Restate your arguments, then write why you think your arguments are positive and have value. Then, depending on the context, call the audience to action.

And that basically answers the question of ‘How to write a speech outline for persuading?’. If you need some inspiration material - you can look up any TED talk. You’ll see that they tend to follow this structure pretty often.

How to Write a Speech About Yourself

We’ve come this far in answering the questions of ‘How to write a speech about yourself?’, and for those who are still confused - it’s okay. We’re going to break it down for you, simple and clear. Follow our step-by-step guide, and you’ll overcome hurdles while writing what you need to.

And on that note, for any writing difficulties you may have, the college essay writing service is ready and accessible through the click of your mouse. If your burdens are piling up, it’s time to get a helping hand.

Now let’s go through our guide to help you learn how to start a speech about yourself and how to end a speech about yourself.

Tone of Voice

Let’s not forget to cater the language and tone of your speech to the context and audience. We’ve learned that in speeches for a change in education or career opportunities, it’s best to keep a professional tone of voice and highlight your achievements.

However, if the introductory speech is for a toast, or perhaps to persuade a general audience, a more relatable tone of voice is acceptable.

Write a Hook

A hook should be intriguing, attention-grabbing, strong, and catchy. Its goal is to capture an audience, so try to think of something that subverts the audience’s expectations. For example, if your speech is going to be about yourself, don’t start with, “My name is Jeff.” Start things with something like, “I’ve always wanted to speak in front of an audience and share what’s important to me, and here I am now.”

Any speech class deals with this part of a self introduction speech in great detail. It will help you capture the audience’s attention. And once you have that - you are pretty much golden. Any speech is about capturing the audience’s attention first and foremost.

Make an Outline

As we’ve stated time and again, an introduction speech about yourself should be written after you’ve made a solid outline. Outlines streamline the process of making the speech and can help clear out any brain fog as well as give you a sense of direction.

Write Your Speech

Now that you’ve got an outline, it’s time to take all the pieces together and write them down. And just like that, you’re halfway there already. By following what you’ve learned in the whole article, the writing part should have been made easier. Take the time to write your speech, edit it, and then it’s on to the next. Stick around to see an example of how to write a persuasive speech example.

Start with a short speech at first. A couple of sentences will be more than enough. You can then work your way up, adding some fluff to the opening statement, mentioning your professional life, and utilizing bullet points to make a stronger impression. Just be sure not to lose your main point, provide only relevant information without too much derailing, and use simple sentences to make a stronger impression.

You can also use some minimal prompts to push you in the right direction. Your first rough draft should not be perfect. But as you move forward, it should be getting better and better with every revision up until you arrive at your final draft. Introductory speeches require a lot of detailed feedback to polish. Run your draft by your friends, and see what they can help you with. This is going to be a turning point in your writing process. Public speakers are used to rehearsing their speeches multiple times in advance.

Practice It!

It’s crunch time. All the effort, preparing, writing, and researching ideas come down to this point. While there are individuals who are great at improvising, don’t take a chance if you’ve never given a speech before. It’s best to be prepared. Being prepared can help you gain confidence in what you’re saying. Even if you’re not very good at public speaking - this is how you make it work.

If you have enough time, you can even take a speech class. It will help you be more confident about your public speaking. Giving some smaller speeches could also help you improve your public speaking skills. A self-introduction speech is not really that hard. And public speaking is not a talent, it’s an acquired skill. So work on improving it.

"Love Yourself" : Two words that have changed million of lives

Girl in classroom illustration

"Love yourself."

How can a two-word sentence can be so powerful, that it has changed lives of milion people?

It is just a reminder that no one tells anyone. No one reminded us that we need to love ourselves. BTS did.

When I first started it, I took a very simple step. Earlier, whenever I went through very hard time, I just wanted to leave the world. I might not really want to die, I just wanted to escape. When I came to know about Love Myself, what I did was during such bad times, when the thought of death was about to come in my head, I told myself, "Love yourself."

When people made me think I am the problem and I don’t belong to the world, I told myself, "Love yourself."

When people criticised me harshly, I told myself, "Hey, why are you breaking down? Don't you love yourself?"

And it worked.

I haven’t thought of dying for years.

I try to live every moment and look ahead instead of being afraid of changes and what lies ahead.

I remind myself that my life is worth living and I am a unique one.

Love is a divine feeling, even if it is self-love. When I look into my eyes in the mirror and smile, when I listen to my heartbeat lying on bed in a silent noon when everyone is asleep, when I feel a sudden euphoria out of nowhere, or when I confess myself, "I'm sorry, I shouldn’t do that to you." and about to cry, when I talk to myself and laugh, those are the feelings that no one else can give me.

I try to know myself more everyday and I am discovering myself everyday.

Taking care of myself is a beautiful thing. As I am a bit out of touch from my parents because both of them are doctors, I take care of me. It feels like self-parenting. Instead of crying about why others don't give me much time, I myself try to fill in the blank.

As an introvert, earlier I became disappointed when I compared my world with other teenagers. It felt like my world is boring, dry, dull and kind of matured. Now I have stopped comparing and started loving and accepting my own world and attitude. I am surprised to see how beautiful it is. My way of making friendship, celebration or happiness may be different, but it isn't wrong. It’s unique.

Now I am more confident than ever before. I can speak myself, I can raise my voice. I trust myself now. And I value myself instead of feeling inferior. My younger self used to think that "I can do nothing special. " I even questioned my existance sometimes.

Now I know that life is a journey, a journey of finding yourself through good and dark experiences. The journey of finding the map of your soul. The journey of finding who you are.

I still remember the day when I listened to BTS for the first time in my life. They said that you're a star, you can shine brighter than anyone else and light up the night. That concept moved my heart and to this day I still remember that feeling. I remember listening to their UN speech in 2020. Each line of that speech reached straight into me and I still cherish them. I remember how the song named Epiphany touched my heart and I realized how emotional self love can be. I remember listening to Answer : Love Myself and thought how beautifully they are conveying their messages. It felt like I should really fall in love with me.

I'm the one I should love in this world

After losing my best friend, I thought I would never be happy again. But I told myself that I shouldn’t ruin my life for other. I must live my life. I focused on myself. And then I realized that I was becoming happy again. And I will always be able to find it as long as I have myself and love myself.

My friend told me a thing long ago, " Love isn't just a thing between two people. It can even be me, myself and I. "

She was right. I can feel it now.

BTS said that everyone's way of loving themselves is different.

I love my introvert and disabled self.

I love my younger self who used to mess up things.

I love who I am now.

I love me simply because it's me.

I love me because I am unique.

I love me even though I make a lot of mistakes and I still lack so much.

I love me because I know there are a lot of things inside of me to love.

True love doesn’t depend on perfection.

It depends on acceptance.

I even realize now that if there is one person in the world to whom I can say "I purple you", that will be me.

The beautiful campaign is reaching to it’s fourth anniversary. I am surprised to see how many lives of young people around me have changed because of it, including my own. I am surprised to see how much I have changed and grown since I have taken part in the campaign. I feel proud of BTS and I feel proud to be a part of Love Myself .

I am proud to say that I am an ARMY.

Not because BTS is becoming so famous day by day, but because they launched a life-changing campaign, Love Myself.

1-minute Speech on Love

Ladies and gentlemen, today I stand before you to talk about a simple yet powerful word – Love. Love is not just a word, it is a feeling that can be as soft as a feather and as strong as a storm.

Love is also about understanding and respect. It’s about listening to each other, even when you disagree. Love is patient, it doesn’t rush. It waits, it understands, it forgives. It’s not just about saying “I love you”, it’s about showing it through your actions every day.

But remember, love is not just for others. It’s also about loving yourself. It’s about treating yourself with kindness and respect. You can’t truly love others until you learn to love yourself. It’s like a flower. You need to water it, give it sunlight, and protect it from harm, so it can bloom and spread its fragrance to the world.

So, let us all promise today to spread love everywhere we go. Let us not just say it, but show it in our actions. Let’s make the world a better place with love. Because love, my friends, is the most beautiful thing in the world.

3 Minute Speech on Friendship

Good Morning to one and all present here. I am going to present a speech about friendship. Friendship is one of the treasures that anyone can possess. God gave us the right to choose friends because they will be with us forever. Our parents and siblings are loving us as they are our own blood. But a friend is someone, who is initially a stranger. Then they take their place in our life above all the other relations. Friendship is nothing but true and pure love without expectations in return.

Speech on Friendship

Role of a Friend

True friends always support each other even during the hardest of times. A true friend is one who feels happy for our success, on the other hand, who feel gloomy for our failures. A true friend may criticize also so that we may come out of our weakness.

He may scold us if we do a mistake and guide the right path. That’s why it is being said that true friend is more precious than any gem in our life. Love from your friend will always be unconditional. They may expect nothing from us but shower their love always.

Friendship – A Divine Relationship

Friendship is a divine relationship, which is beyond the definition of blood relations. It is the only relation that is truly priceless. We may acquire all kinds of pleasures by putting our efforts. But even then life may remain dull, without having someone to share our life with some true friends.

It’s natural that human being always tends to find emotional support and social life. In spite of having everything in life, we may remain in a vacuum. It happens only when we have no such good friend to share our small and small happiness in life. Friends are always there to listen to us unconditionally.

There is no Second Chance for True Friendship

Friendship will provide us with thousands of fun moments in life which we may memorize in our old age. But side by side, with times this relation may have moments of crisis. A misunderstanding may crop in and this amazing relation may start weakening.

Always be the first one to save the friendship. God forbid, if due to some unfavorable reason distance ever arises within this relation, we must not let our friend go. Hold his or her hand and apologize for any mistake done. There is nothing more pathetic in anyone’s life than losing a true friend.

Friendship is a relationship that is like a newborn baby. Friendship is always pure and like a bundle of joy which only needs more and more nourishment to grow. Never ignore true friends or take them for granted. We may come across various people at different phases of our life. Many may pretend to be our friends but never go by outward glitter.

At last, I wish to say that a good friendship is very difficult to come across. Therefore, we should appreciate this divine relationship having a base on understanding and feelings. We just need friends to live happily. Lasting friendship is a blessing for everyone.

We don`t need to pretend to be someone else when we spend time with our friends. They give us total freedom to be who we are in reality. We should always be grateful to people who make us happy. A true friend is one of the most precious possessions in anyone’s life.

Final answer:

Convert the direct speech to indirect by paraphrasing the quotation and shifting elements like pronouns and verb tenses. 'You should love your neighbor as yourself, for God is love.' becomes 'He advised us to love our neighbors as ourselves because God is love.'

Explanation:

When you change direct speech into indirect speech, maintain the meaning of the sentence but alter its structure. In indirect speech, the direct quotation is paraphrased and elements such as pronouns, verb tenses, and words showing place and time might be shifted. The direct speech from your example, 'You should love your neighbor as yourself, for God is love.'
