Thymesia - All Ingredients and Recipes

Ingredients can be used to Craft your Potions, and there are several to be found while playing the game. You will need at least 1 of each to unlock corresponding trophy, and to unlock all Recipes, which is yet antother trophy. 

To unlock Recipes you need to have 3 slots unlocked in either Potion first. Afterwards, select a Potion, select "Craft Potion" and combine 3 Ingredients listed below to get a combination that will unlock a Recipe on a Potion - Recipe is nothing more than additional effect that your Potion has when it uses 3 different Ingredients that gives you one.

Note - You can't spend ingredients, so only 1 example of each is enough to unlock all trophies. You can only have an ingredient in a Potion slot and it will not be available for other Potions, but you can remove it from the first one and transfer to the others.

Continue, bypass the spear-wielding foe nearby and look around the other side of the wall to find the enemy you're seeking. Defeat her, if you don't get a Rosemary make your way back to the beacon to respawn enemies, and retry until you get it)
• Oregano (rare - spiked enemy with a shield and axe in Hermes Fortress Subquest 1. After the courtyard area you will open a doors to the tutorial mission part of town. After the first corner that leads to the right there will be a spiked enemy with a shield and axe. Defeat, rest at nearby beacon if you don't get it, repeat until you do)

Thymesia – List Of All Story Bits (Memory Weaver) Guide

Memory Weaver is one of the trophies and achievements that players can unlock within Thymesia. It requires players to find and collect all of the various story bits.

The story bits are basically pieces of document paper that explains the world of Thymesia and the environment and locations.

Thymesia Story Bits: All 94 Story Collectible Locations

Thymesia Story Bits – In thymesia , the story is told by collecting 94 different story bits along with 22 lore collectibles, that are needed for the games 5 different endings. The story bits are found hidden in the 13 different game levels and the lore is found in game levels and rewarded for defeating different bosses. The collectibles are also needed for two different achievement/trophies, the good listener for collecting all lore and memory weaver for collecting all story bits.

Thymesia, described as a punishing action role-playing game, will be coming to PC

Story Bit Collecting Help Needed!

Can anyone tell me the name of the story bit that is between "Notes on Hermes Life: Fortress 02" and "Surveillance Record"?

Also can anyone tell me the name of the story bit between "Folk Potions Research Report 01" and "Alchemy Researcher's Notebook 04"?

For whatever ungodly reason, the story bits listed in game start off in mission order, but then gets scrambled to fuck and I have no idea which story bits I'm missing and where, so following guides and YouTube videos is basically helpless.

These are the last 2 story pieces I need, so just knowing what they're called would help me tremendously that way I can actually narrow down my search. Thanks in advance!

Sea of Trees - Sub Quest 2

Sea of Trees - Sub Quest 2 is the second optional mission in the Sea of Trees . The goal of this mission is to find Odur's Contruction Notebook located somewhere deep in the forest village.

Sea of Trees - Sub Quest 2 Walkthrough

Start by activating the Beacon directly in front of the level spawn, then head down the hall and around the corner where you will encounter a couple of weak villager enemies, as well as another cloud of poison.

The poison does not cover the entire area, so go to the right to avoid it, though beware you will end up aggroing more enemies. Once they're all dead you can grab the Collection of Memories Lv1 you see sitting in the corner to the right.

Continue exploring the non-poisoned side of this platform and you will find a ramp leading up to a platform with a ladder on it (along with another spear villager). Ascend the ladder and exit the hut at the top to find yourself in front of the elevator that took us to Odur's boss arena, guarded by a powerful Halberd enemy.

Stay out of his immediate range (which is much longer than it appears) and rush in only when he ends a combo or commits to a heavy attack. if you see the green flash of a Critical attack be sure to Feather Dart counter for an easy punish. Or you can just abuse the Bow for an easy win. Defeating him gets you the usual Alchemy Enhancer and Halberd Skill Shards, plus you can grab the Collection of Memories Lv1 on the path to the right,.

Keep following this path down and you will find another halberd enemy, albeit much weaker this time. Defeat him and you will be free to inspect the Experiences of a Hopeless Builder 01 neaby. Ascend the ramp by the note to encounter a handaxe villager, then ascend the next ramp on this path where you will find two knife villagers on a larger platform. Clear them out, then take the only path out through the hut next to the stairs.

Here you will encounter a split path. Taking the path to the right will lead to a ladder. Look below and you can see a poison sac, which just so happens to be the one that was coating the area at the start in that poison gas. You can drop down and destroy the sac to clear the area, but be prepared to deal with the enemies guarding it. Once they are dead you can grab the Collection of Memories Lv1 sitting on this platform, then drop down and explore the previously poisoned area to find the Legend of Four Thieves Vinegar 02 . Climb back up and return to the split path.

Taking the path to the left will lead you to a shortcut. Drop down the ladder in front of you and open the iron door and you will find yourself back at the elevator from earlier in the level. There are also two Collection of Memories Lv1 nearby: one next to the shortcut door, and another in some barrels to the left of the top of the ladder.

Take the bridge to the right of the second Collection of Memories down to reach another large platform, this one occupied by a few weak villager enemies and one very strong Twin Blade knight. Twin Blade knights have odd attack patterns and high damaging combos. They're great for practicing your Deflects if you're into that, but they're also great pincushions for the arrows in your Bow. I recommend just beating these guys down with your Plague Weapon of choice rather than engaging in a sword fight. Keep in mind that his range is not all that good, so be ready to dodge away from attacks at any moment.

Defeating the knight gets you another Alchemy Enhancer , the Key to the Sea of Trees Market , and some Twin Swords Skill Shards. You may have noticed another locked iron gate nearby, sadly that key does not open that door so you can ignore it for now. Instead explore the rest of the platform.

To the left of the spot where you encountered the Twin Swords night is a small platform that leads to a ladder hanging off the edge of this area. Climb down and follow the path to the end where you will run into a weak villager and a Note inside some barrels, the Tales of Folks Potions 04 . Turn around and you will see another ladder that leads down into the market below. Drop down and kill the villager waiting below, then inspect the Sea of Trees: Record of a Mysterious Event sitting on a nearby table.

Climb back up the ladder and you will notice another ledge you can drop down on the other side, which lands you in the market proper. This area is absolutely teeming with enemies, so be careful not to get overwhelmed. Thankfully all but one are the weak villager variant, so you can slash them down with relative ease. Once all the enemies are dead, head into the hut in the back corner of the market where you will find a Beacon . Rest up, level up, and get ready for the second half of the level.

You may notice another iron gate near the Beacon, but we have one thing to take care of before progressing. Exit the hut with the beacon and head to the other side of the market where you should see a bridge leading down to another platform with a large circus tent on it. Follow the path forward and you will encounter an iron gate. Unlock the gate as pass through, then go left to get to the entrance of the tent.

Inside the tent is one of those powerful Greatsword knights we have battled a few times before. Yet another amazing chance to abuse the Bow, or test your dodging skills. Just like the Halberd knight these guys have more range than you might expect, so stay well out of their way until they commit to attack, leaving themselves open to an attack. Defeat him to obtain, you guessed it, an Alchemy Enhancer and Greatsword Skill Shards. Head back to the Beacon area, rest, then open and progress through the nearby iron gate.

Directly ahead of the gate you will see a Collection of Memories Lv1 on the ground, and around the corner you will see yet another iron gate. Pop it open and pass through, then immediately look to your left where you will see a weak villager and some barrels with a Thyme inside.

Turn back around and cross the bridge in front of the iron gate to reach another large platform. This platform is guarded by a Katar enemy, who you may remember being quite dangerous. Just like the Twin Swords knight, the Katar enemy is both unpredictable and highly damaging. However he is easy to catch in a counter loop, and it is easy to dodge or Deflect his counter attack, a slow paced double arm swing. Defeat him for another Alchemy Enhancer and Katar Skill Shards.

Behind the Katar enemy is an axe villager lying in wait, so look out for him as you step to the back of the room. Here the path is split once again, left and right. Start by going through the iron gate to the right, which leads you to a large room with a few weak enemies scattered around. Find and kill all of them, then open the iron gate on the opposite side of the room which leads allll the way back to the start of the level. Convenient? I guess so but we have nothing else to do there, so head back to the split path.

This time go down the path to the left. You will see a staircase ahead, but immediately take a right and go down the ramp into the long hall patrolled by a spear villager. Kill the villager then break the barrels at the end of the hall to find Notes on Hermes Life: Circus 03 .

Go back to the staircase and ascend to reach the next floor, this one patrolled by a slightly stronger halberd enemy variant. Kill him, then climb the ladder that was at the top of the staircase we came up on. At the top is a small room where you can inspect Transformation Experiment Report 02 .

Go back down the ladder, then forward to the end of this floor where you will see another staircase leading up. Check behind the staircase to find a Collection of Memories Lv1 , then head up to the next floor. The staircase is coated in poison, but as long as you dash up them you can immediately take a right at the top and get onto the safe platform. Open the wooden door on this platform and kill the two halberd enemies patrolling the hallway on the other side.

Make your way to the end of this hall to reach the iron gate shortcut from way earlier in the level (near where we encountered the Twin Swords knight) as well as a ladder you can drop down to reach a small room where you will find Experiences of a Hopeless Builder 03 in some barrels.

With the shortcut taken care of make your way back to the poison area. Dash off of the safe platform and up the next set of stairs to the right. There is another safe spot platform immedaitely at the top of this staircase, and you will be able to see the poison sac just one level above you. Dash up one more set of stairs then slash the sac until it is destroyed, freeing you from the poison gas.

With the poison gas clear you can make your way all the way back down to the floor where we first encountered the poison gas, near the safe platform with the wooden door on it. Around the corner from that safe platform is a thin hallway with a Note at the end of it. Kill the villager guarding the note then inspect it to find Odur's Construction Notebook and complete the recall. If you have any other exploring to do take care of it now, otherwise speak to the apparition of Aisemy to exit the level.

Thank you so much for coming here! I am a folksinger, mom of two and potion maker living in Austin, TX. I grew up in Portland, OR with actual hippie parents. I started exploring herbalism after high school when I lived and worked at the summer camp I attended. Living in a coastal forest, I discovered many plant allies, thoughtfully harvested them and transformed them into topical potions. I spent the following ten years on the road playing songs for people. When I was 34, my energy changed. I began making helpful unguents in my kitchen again. It was clearly the next path to travel down. Music and healing go hand in hand.
